What I Like About Working at Whitcraft
We have a lot of autonomy here and innovation is always on-going, including some fascinating engineered technology. I like that things can change quickly, and we’re able to try new things and then make adjustments. We know that it’s okay to make mistakes and grow from them. That’s part of the family feel to the culture here; there’s the sense that we’re small enough that we really care about each other. We have a wellness program that encourages employees to take care of ourselves. I like being part of the running club that promotes exercise during work hours. It gives us the flexibility we need to balance work and personal life.
About My Job and Me
I’m the Strategic Operations Manager in charge of operational efficiency. My job includes continuous improvement and making a connection between sales and operations. My job involves day-to-day, week-to-week, and long-term planning. I get to work with customers to understand what the upcoming demand is and then match that with capacity. Because I work on relationships with customers, I also attend customer meetings with our account staff.
Personal Note
I have five sisters—my parents never got the son they were hoping for. I grew up in a very busy household where I learned organizational skills, not to sweat the small stuff, and nothing belongs to me.
